Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) President Nechirvan Barzani has arrived in Tehran to take part in a high-level regional meeting scheduled for tomorrow. His visit comes in response to an official invitation extended by the Iranian Foreign Ministry.
President Barzani will attend the Tehran meeting alongside senior officials from Iran and the wider region. In addition to participating in the event, he is set to hold meetings with top Iranian leaders, to discuss bilateral relations, developments in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, and broader regional dynamics.
The visit aims to reaffirm the Kurdistan Region’s support for dialogue, peaceful coexistence, and strengthened cooperation among countries and peoples in the region. Barzani is expected to present the Kurdistan Region’s vision for regional peace, economic integration, and partnership based on mutual respect and shared interests.
