21 Injuries and 2 Fatalities Reported in Traffic Accidents Within Six Hours in Sulaymaniyah

According to statistics released by the Sulaymaniyah Health Directorate, 21 traffic accident injuries and two fatalities were recorded in just the first six hours of the first day of Eid. The victims were admitted to the Shar Emergency Hospital.
In a statement, the directorate confirmed that the casualties occurred between 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Of the cases, 13 involved car accidents, while eight were related to motorcycle incidents.
One of the accidents occurred early this morning on Salem Street in central Sulaymaniyah, near the Public Library. A taxi flipped onto its roof, leaving the driver injured.
Additionally, another collision took place on the Tuwaspi Dual Road in the city, where a Malika-brand vehicle lost control due to speeding and veered into a ditch.
