The President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, is set to visit Ankara on Wednesday for an official meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, according to a statement from the Kurdistan Regional Presidency.
“The two sides will discuss the development of Turkey’s relations with Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, the latest developments in the region, and exchange views on several other issues of common interest,” said Dilshad Shahab, the spokesman for the Kurdistan Regional Presidency.
