Peregraf- Today, Nechirvan Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Region, held a telephone conversation with Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of the Republic of Turkey, according to a Kurdistan Region presidency release.
The two leaders focused on the regional situation and the serious challenges arising from ongoing conflicts. Both sides agreed that the escalation of tensions poses a real threat to current and future stability, emphasizing the urgent need for political solutions to prevent the spread of conflict and protect nations from the devastation of war.
President Erdoğan expressed his appreciation to Barzani for his constructive role in promoting cooperation and supporting peace in Turkey, noting that such efforts are crucial for fostering harmony among peoples and reducing regional tensions.
