Peregraf — The Iraqi National Intelligence Service (INIS) announced today the arrest of key leaders of the "Foxtrot" network, one of the most dangerous international mafia organizations.
According to an official INIS statement, the operation was based on precise intelligence and tracking activities both inside Iraq and abroad. It was conducted in coordination with the National Center for International Judicial Cooperation and security authorities in Sulaymaniyah Governorate, Kurdistan Region.
The arrested individuals were wanted under both local and international arrest warrants. The Foxtrot network is reportedly involved in a range of complex crimes across multiple countries and had attempted to use Iraqi territory as a hub for its illegal operations.
